SD Wing Zero Custom- Body

Hi guys. Here's another update on my SD Wing Zero Custom. This time, it's the upper body!
The pieces.

The shoulders, with the inside of the shoulders :D

Some tips here.
Don't glue the shoulder part before inserting the inner piece. I made the mistake and had to tear the part apart to insert the inner part. What a hassle.

It is supposed to look like this.

Not this!

SD Wing Zero Custom- Head

This model is designed by Toyoppe

Quite a new experience for me, since I have never tried an actual SD scale Gundam papercraft. The mechanisms of the arms are so fascinating. It's truly amazing when you think that they are made up of papers!
Perhaps I'll try a regular size Gundam, maybe not...

The head... Nothing much to say here, but the vents look... off to me.

I wanted to cry after I saw the 'bent' shape. Cannot be molded anymore...

Opening a new door...

Recently, I got an offer to go for an interview for Electrical Engineering course in UM.

Initially, I wanted to reject the offer, seriously. I did not expect the offer, since I filled in the choice as the 3rd choice in my PU registration, it is not supposed to get an offer based on the instructions given.

Hence, it caused some major changes in my plan, for the whole week. I am supposed to be travelling with my friends to Penang this week, and that has to be delayed, due to this 'sudden' interview.

Then, because of my dependence on my dad, my only transport is through my dad. Kinda sad huh?
But then, a thought flashed through my mind over and over again. Why not you go for the interview, and get some experience? That would not be bad in any way right? Ahh well, I got beaten by the thought and clicked the 'accept' button.

So, I am heading to UM tomorrow for Penilaian, some sort of a test I guess.

The next day, it is the real interview. I haven not really prepared anything for the interview really. My mind is so messed up right now.

Wargeymon Papercraft

Hi guys!
Here I am, typing this post at the comfort of my home. Yes, I graduated from KMM.
Kinda miss the smelly bed now, but life goes on anyways right? So, yeah, trying hard to get used to the original bed now.

Anyway, Wargreymon is finally done, after one whole Semester of work!.
Believe it or not, I was building this big guy in the final week of my exam. Can't blame the habit of 'distraction is much more interesting than studying' I guess? :D

Enjoy the photos ( courtesy of another friend who lent me his better phone)
or suffer the ugly views of the glueing tabs/ colour washes/ bending folds/ etc craps in the craft

p/s:  Wargreymon is now resting in its comfy home in Penang, probably enjoying its Curry Mee.
Yes, It's a present.

Rilakkuma

Someone's birthday is just around the corner, so I've decided to make one papercraft for her. But heck, how would I know what she likes?

And to make things worse, I found out that she doesn't like Rilakkuma very much actually...

With the male version, I don't even want to think what will happen after this.

Making the model is already pretty hard ( don't underestimate this cute bear!), presenting it actually harder ( in my mind...)

Ohh well, enough monologues, here are some photos of the so called  Relax Bear.

Did a terrible job on the head. The line is so obvious. It's like a SCAR.

I'm not sure about this one. I can't close the back nicely. I wonder if this is done on purpose or I did something wrong. I sure hope it's the designer's intention. (gulp)

Wish me good luck and, keep fighting! Wargreymon is coming soon enough! ( cough cough)

Wargreymon!

While this is an exam season and I'm supposed to be studying, I can't keep my hands free. Result? Decided to build a new model. My friends commented that it is ugly, but heck I love what I build so I'm going to defend it very very strongly.

Too lazy to type words now, 20 photos coming up!

Left leg is not quite finished with its armor piece.

Sorry for the quality, taken using handphone under bad lighting.
Will do another update when it is done. ( perhaps in the next month???)

Gotta Catch 'Em All!

My second paper model in 2 weeks time XD

Remember my got-to-be-present Vaporeon Mini? Now, it IS a present and and at the person's hand. :D Consider that a dream comes true.

I don't know why did I choose Poke Ball Box as a gift, since, it is mainly an eye candy, with its 'box' function basically left out ( paper is very fragile!), perhaps it is to fulfill a childhood dream? ( Those who watched Pokemon since its first episode will certainly what I meant. Come on, everyone wants to be Ask Ketchum right? ;D )

So, the good-looking cover photo :D

Used a different method to construct the spherical structure.
The 'bridge' method. Discard the original printed tab and create a new tab using another piece of paper.
Cut the tabs according to the 'curve'. The 'curvier' the pieces, the more tabs you should cut.

Looks very nice isn't it?

Now, the right side of the PokeBall seems flatten....

Vaporeon inside the box.

 The shape is ruined T.T

Well, I glued the pieces in the wrong order, thus the PokeBall could not be 'closed' properly, causing the tab on the right to pop out. Cut it, and the shape became this ..... *FACEPALM*

Anyway, hope he'll like it.

Well, I am in my college room now, and believe it or not, another model is coming up. I do hope I can make some brief updates per week, but then the schedule is not clearly known yet.

Until the next post, stay tuned!
